Make money from shaming PM evil: Kerala from Modi look like AIB meme

dupMumbai: People might not know who MP Ramachandran is, but they know what he looks like, thanks to his strange resemblance to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 64-year-old Kannur boy who has shot himself in the boiler light after the controversial AIB tweet broke his silence and asked a legitimate question – Why would anyone do this to him?

According to a mid-day report, Ramchandran has also criticized All India Bakchod (AIB) for teasing the prime minister. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an international figure and my role model, it is not right to mock someone who is doing what is for the country,” he said.

The meme in question used an image of Ramchandran along with a Snapchat dog filter superimposed on the face of Modi. Following public outcry both online and offline, a case against AIB was registered for mocking Modi.

The message with the meme became viral on social media platforms and Ramchandran brought unwanted attention. So much so that he was even thinking about shaving his beard, saying that his identity is used to defame Modi.

“No one has the right to transform photographs to make fun of monetary gains, nor am I a politician or a social activist, I am a common man without enemies,” Ramchandran said.

He also told the tabloid about the story behind the image that has become viral. The image was taken by a traveler on July 10 at Payyanur Station, he said, adding that it was common for him to receive a request for photos or self-esteem from passers-by when they realized the likeness of Ramchandran with Modi.

Ramchandran was employed by a private company based in Mumbai as a stenographer for about 30 years. He then moved to Saudi Arabia, where he worked for another 10 years. He later moved to Kuwait, but returned to Kerala in 2013.
