China is our enemy, not Pakistan, ready to attack India: Mulayam in LS

-CoverNew Delhi: Samajwadi Party leader and former Defense Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav said Wednesday that China was ready to attack India in collaboration with Pakistan and called on the government to reverse its stance on the Tibet issue and support its independence.

In raising the issue in the Lok Sabha against the background of the tension between India and China, he called on the government to inform Parliament of what it has done to address any possible challenge of the neighboring country.

“India today faces a great danger from China. I have been warning the central government for years. China has joined hands with Pakistan. It has made the complete preparation to attack India. China is the biggest opponent of India. What has the government done? Kashmir, the Chinese army allied with the Pak Army, “said Yadav, known for his strong position on China during Zero Hour.

He also said that China had buried nuclear weapons in Pakistan to go to India, adding that Indian intelligence agencies “would know better.”

Yadav said India’s position on Tibet, a reference to its acceptance that the region was part of China, was a “mistake” and the time had come to support its independence, as it had been a traditional buffer between the Two great nations.

“China is our enemy, not Pakistan, Pakistan can not harm us,” he said.

It was India’s responsibility to protect Bhutan and China looked at Nepal, he said.

He also spoke against massive amounts of Chinese products that find a market in India.
