Universal hero Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan has been roped in by Vishal to play a key role in his new film ‘Thupparivaalan’. It may be noted that Vishal had earlier romanced Shruti Haasan in ‘Poojai’.
Announcing the arrival of Aksharan, Vishal tweeted “Happy 2 announce another addition to our #Thupparivalan cast. a warm welcome to @AksharaHaasan1 aka akshu. gna b damn exciting n rivettiing.GB”.
Vishal, who is also producing ‘Thupparivaalan’, said that an unusual character has been etched by director Mysskin for Akshara. He however didn’t disclose if she will romance him or not. It may be noted that Rakul Preet Singh is already on board to play the romantic interest of Vishal.
After making her silver screen debut opposite Dhanush in Hindi film ‘Shamitabh’, Akshara is currently acting in Thala Ajith’s new action thriller, which is tentatively titled ‘Thala 57’. Either Ajith’s film or Vishal starrer will be her debut Tamil project as there is no clarity on their release dates as of yet.
In fact, Ajith also romanced Shruti Haasan in his last release ‘Vedhalam’.
