TRS MPs to raise issue of high courts for separate Telangana, Andhra Pradesh

HYDERABAD: TRS leaders in Telangana would increase its demand to establish high courts separate Telangana and Andhra Pradesh during the monsoon session of Parliament, said a leader of high level.

“Injustice is being done to lawyers and others now. Therefore, all members of TRS seek to stop the Parliament by Justice (with regard to the issue),” the representative of the government of Telangana in Delhi S Venugopalachary, ex deputy told reporters.

In order to pressure the government of Central and AP, members of the Joint Action Committee of Telangana advocates’ (TAJAC) on Tuesday staged a dharna outside the office of the Bar Council of AP high court facilities requiring independent high court and Bar Telangana State Council.

TAJAC members comprise the S Satyam Reddy, G Mohan Rao, K Goverdhan Reddy, Krishna Reddy P, T Sriranga Rao and several other supporters raised slogans in support of their demand. Carried banners demanding independent high court and the Bar of Telangana, trying to list the cases concerning Telangana before judges belonging to the state high court existing common etc.

As part of its program of agitation on individual issues, it has decided to organize TAJAC dharna at the state BJP office and file a representation BJP state president here on July 22 has also decided to conduct a dharna before the camp’s first office AP N Chandrababu Naidu minister here on July 24 and to convene a round table conference inviting all party leaders, judges, lawyers and others here on July 25.
