Supreme Court Appoints Three Members Commission To High Level Probe On Disha Case Accused Encounter

The second day’s hearing on the petition filed in the Supreme Court against the encounter of the accused in the direction murder case is over. The Supreme Court has appointed a three-member commission for a high-level hearing. Among them were retired judges VS Sirparkar, Rekha (former judge of Bombay High Court) and former CBI officer Karthikeyan. The commission is headed by VSSiruparkar and the CRPF provides them with security. Moreover, the Telangana government has to bear the expenses of the commission. The court said that the commission should be held in a proper location in Hyderabad. The CJI was ordered to submit a report to the Supreme Court within six weeks from the date of commencement of the first trial. In addition, the CJI has ordered that the media along with the media be given control over the case.
The Tribunal believes that a high-level investigation into the incident should be held as part of the arguments. The court said it would appoint an inquiry committee. However, lawyer Mukul Rohdgi, appearing on behalf of Telangana, told the court that the SIT investigation has already begun and the NHRC is also investigating. Again, is there a need for another high-level committee hearing? Rohdgi appealed to the court to look into the matter. The counter-attack by the accused made clear that they had full evidence of the way they were fleeing.

The Court of Appeal first questioned the petitioner in this case. Bobde questioned. Petitioner Mandi asserted that he had resorted to the Supreme Court because it was a deliberate encounter. Mandi asked the court to get the full information from the government.

The CJI inquired whether anyone knew what happened at the time of the incident and who was in the area. Former Attorney General Mukul Rohdgi, who is arguing on behalf of Telangana, said that the scene of the encounter was described in detail. Did the suspects shoot firearms at the police and shoot them? The CJI questioned. Replying to this, Mukul Rohdgi said that they were holding guns and firing at the police. The order said there had been counter-firing but that their bullets had not fired at the police and that the bullets had been fired.
