Ind Vs Sa 1st Test: Mayank Agarwal, Rohit Sharma Break Plethora Of Records With First-Wicket Stand

Indian openers Rohit Sharma (236, 6×6 in 176: 244 balls) and Mayank Agarwal (2354, 6×6 in 215: 371 balls) set the record for the first Test match against South Africa in Visakhapatnam. The pair shared a 317-run partnership for the first wicket. After almost six years with the Indian team, the first wicket for the first wicket in Tests is more than double.

The opening pair of the Test match, which started on Wednesday, ended the day with a score of 202/01. However, Rohit Sharman opened the scoring for the first wicket partnership with Keshava Maharaj bowling Dickock at bowling at 317.

This is the third time that the first wicket partnership for the first wicket in Temindia Tests is 300 .. This is the highest in South Africa.
