Actress Poorna says she had no qualms about shaving her head for the sake of her character in the upcoming Tamil movie “Kodi Veteran.”
She is confident that the role will gain recognition.
“I’m getting to do something different and I’m sure the paper will be very well received, it will get a good recognition, and that’s exactly why I did not mind shaving my head,” Poorna told IANS.
She clarified that she did not accept the paper to prove a point.
“I accepted the role only after I realized the potential of my character, it is not the kind of role that all actresses would do and that moved me more,” he said.
She has placed great hopes on the film, which has been directed by Muthiah.
The film, shot entirely in Madurai, features Sasikumar at the head.
