Hyderabad: The infinite municipal workers strike in Telangana state has been going on for more than eight days, and conversations with government officials to resolve the impasse have failed so far. The garbage has accumulated on the roads creates problems for residents of Hyderabad.

During the campaign SWACHH Telangana, Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao had adopted Parsigutta Secunderabad area and had promised to keep clean. But as the strike continues, the whole city is getting worse.
“We can not even walk on the roads and the government has not yet made a wine or action,” said a resident Sainath.

The strike by municipal workers demanding an increase in wages and demands as health cards, provident funds and accommodation for them began on July 6.
“We want our pending review and be on par with other wages. The government had promised before coming to power and have not done it so far,” said Zakir Ahmed, a municipal worker.
Meanwhile, congressional opposition has attacked the government for not taking immediate action.
‘The chief minister who wants to make Hyderabad a city of world class has become a garbage’ ‘said chief spokesman of Pradesh Congress Committee Shravan Kumar Telangana.

He also added that the government should immediately fulfill the demands of workers and to end the strike.
The state government has spent hundreds of millions of rupees in the state as part of the cleaning units and awareness campaigns, but the strike has meant that all efforts have been in vain.
