Telangana delegation attends investment in Dubai

DUBAI: Telangana government attends a meeting of investment in Dubai to attract a broad spectrum of global investors in the newly created state.

The event will be an opportunity to interact and network with key decision makers of government of the United Arab Emirates and the investment community as well as with other world leaders from various countries.

The Telangana government hopes to show at the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) fifth core competencies and critical measures that have been initiated, according to a statement issued by the Indian Consulate in Dubai.

This is in line with the Government’s vision for the new Telangana state in India most preferred investment destination in the country.

KT Rama Rao, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Information Technology (IT) Government of Telangana to a large gathering of government and business leaders from all sectors such as infrastructure, technology, pharmaceuticals and valuing opportunities in Telangana will go, centered around Hyderabad.

The Telangana Government aims to develop Hyderabad in a futuristic city, promoting innovation and technology, developing new growth sectors, and through intelligent urban planning.

Many prominent leaders and dignitaries will participate in the three-day event starting today.

AIM is an initiative of the Ministry of Economy UAE and this is the fifth edition of the event in Dubai. Established as the new base for foreign trade and foreign direct investment, which attracts a mix of high-level government officials, private asset owners and project developers from around the world.

The Government of Telangana aims to reach a target of USD 17 billion of exports from the current level of USD 10 billion and create 1 million employment opportunities in the ICT and eastern sector over the next three years.
