Telangana Congress Seeks Tjs Chief Kodandaram Support In Huzurnagar Bypolls

Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) president Kodandaram said that anti-government policies will be lit up during the Huzurnagar by-election. He said the Congress had sought its support in the by-election. He spoke to the media on Tuesday (October 1). The President of the Sarpanch’s Association demanded the immediate release of Bhummanna.

Kodandaram alleged that the arrests were continuing because the TRS was campaigning against the government. The matter was reported to the Election Commission. He accused the police of misrepresenting the Election Commission as it did not arrest Bhummanna in Suryapet.

Asked by media representatives why he was not contesting the elections in Huzurnagar, Kodandaram replied. He said their resources were limited and hence they were out of competition.

Congress treasurer Gudur Narayana Reddy alleged that the leaders of the Sarpanch community were arrested in Huzurnagar for not nominating them. He accused the TRS leaders of fearing that the leaders of the serpent community would defeat the TRS in Huzurnagar. The arrestees demanded immediate release.

Former MP Konda Vishweshwara Reddy said that TJS president Kodandaram was asked to support the Congress party in Huzoor Nagar elections. In theory, he said that both parties are the same agenda. He said both parties were opposed to the totalitarian and dictatorial tendencies.

Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said that Kodandaram has a special interest in Telangana. He also asked the TJS leaders of the constituencies around Huzur Nagar to support them.
