Asked about tips for better hair, Soha shared: “I wash my hair regularly and apply a good conditioner to avoid dryness.”On the work front, Soha will be seen playing a strong female protagonist in National Award-winning director Shivaji Lotan Patil’s film “31st October”.

“31st October” is based on the assassination of Indira Gandhi and the events that followed. 31st October had its official screening at the London Indian Film festival earlier in July this year where it received a positive feedback and a standing ovation from the audience.
“It’s an intense film and intense role.” says Soha Ali Khan about her upcoming movie, 31st October, at a launch party here in Mumbai.

Soha Ali Khan, Sunil Shetty, Ameesha Patel and Aftab Shivdasani were spotted at the launch of ‘U&ME Salon’. Soha looked very pretty and glamorous in her designer wear, which is complete opposite to her upcoming movie.

“Really an unglamorous look but something I thought very challenging as an actor” says Soha Ali, who will be seen in role of “Sardarni” in 31st October.

“31st October” is written and produced by Harry Sachdeva and directed by National Award Winner, Shivaji Lotan Patil . It’s the first Bollywood Film on the aftermath of Indira Gandhi’s Assassination. The film is based on a true story. First Character poster is out and highly appreciated.

“We have released the Character poster. So far it has gotten good response. I have never played a character like that Sardarni role, set in riots of 1984, after Indra Gandhi’s murder.” adds Soha Ali.

Stand-up comedian and actor Vir das is also playing the main lead in the movie. The film is slated for October 2015 release.

A source says, “Soha was briefed during the narration that her character would sport a simple look and she would be sans makeup. The people of the village where Soha had shot the movie were quite excited to see her in a sari and salwar kurta, as most onlookers were reminded of her mother Sharmila Tagore when she dressed up in the fashion of 80’s for the shooting.”
