Shilpa decides to join YSRCP

shilpaIn what is considered a major blow to TDP ruler in Kurnool district, party leader Shilpa Mohan Reddy has resigned from the party’s primary membership and decided to join YSRCP. He announced his decision at a meeting of his followers in Nandyal on Monday. Speaking to the media, Shilpa Mohan Reddy said he made the decision at the urging of his followers and added that along with his followers would join the YSRCP on June 14 in the presence of YS party leader Jaganmohan Reddy in Hyderabad.
Shilpa said that he is totally annoyed with the way the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu works and his indecisive and indifferent attitude. He said he had served the party with the utmost respect and sincerity, but the leadership of the party could not reciprocate, he lamented.
Shilpa fought 2014 Nandyal Assembly Assembly Assembly elections on the TDP ticket against YSRCP candidate Bhuma Nagireddy, who later changed loyalties to the ruling party.
According to sources Shilpa would be the YSRCP candidate in the subsequent election to the Nandyal poll necessitated by the death of Rep. Bhuma Nagireddy.
