Pakistan suspends talks with US In protest against Trump’s criticism

ustrpIslamabad: Pakistan has reportedly blocked all talks with the United States and visited the country in protest against President Donald Trump’s excavation in Islamabad for harboring terrorists on its territory.

According to Pakistani media, The Nation, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif said the decision to suspend talks with the United States. Was taken by the Senate Committee of Pakistan.

The Committee has also proposed that Pakistan establish a “verifiable mechanism” to authenticate allegations of cross-border terrorism, according to Asif.

Asif also alleged that India was involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan using Afghanistan.

Pakistan has not yet finalized its response to Trump’s warning during his new Terrorism Policy in Afghanistan and South Asia. Asif will embark on a three-nation tour to China, Russia and Turkey to seek consultations on Trump’s new policy in South Asia.

Last week, Trump announced that the United States would send more troops to Afghanistan to control the situation in the war-torn country and blamed Pakistan for terrorist activities on the Afghan soil.

Trump sent a strong warning to Pakistan against giving shelter to terror teams in the country. He also urged India to participate actively in helping the United States fight against the Taliban.
