‘No More Routine Films from Me’

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, who is all geared up to test his luck at box office after two years, said that no more routine films will come from him.

Interacting with media ahead of the release of ‘Raja The Great’, Ravi Teja talked about why he chose to essay the character of a blind man and whether the thought of his decision might be proved risky ever come to his mind during the course of shooting.

Ravi Teja said that he had never limited himself to stereotypes and did whatever the films he thought would entertain audiences. He added that tastes of cine goers have changed vastly and that he has also decided not to do the 6 fights-6 songs format movies anymore. ‘Audience are not coming to theatres if films don’t offer freshness and engaging factor, irrespective of how big a star acted in a particular film,’ he added.

Ravi Teja’s decision is a welcome change as industry will see a transformation when stars attempt experiments and encourage others to do them. The actor will be next seen in ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ and remake of Tamil film, ‘Bogan’.

Meanwhile, Raja The Great is scheduled to hit screens on Oct 18.
