Naidu, Jagan Out To Conquer Each Other’s Forts!

In an interesting scenario in Andhra politics, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy are out to conquer each other’s forts on Wednesday.

While Jagan is presently touring Naidu’s native district Chittoor drawing huge crowds as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, Naidu has set to conquer Pulivendula, Jagan’s constituency to conduct Janma Bhoomi-Maa Vooru programme in the afternoon, after he releases water from Chitravati balancing reservoir into Pulivendula branch canal.

Ahead of Naidu’s visit to Pulivendula, three of the YSR Congress party councillors in the local municipality went missing and Kadapa MP Y Avinash Reddy lodged a complaint with the police that they were kidnapped by the TDP leaders.

However, it is learn the three councillors would be joining the TDP in the presence of Naidu at the meeting in the evening.

It clearly shows Naidu is trying to gain an upper hand over Jagan in the latter’s own turf, at a time when Jagan is making wild allegations against him and his government in Chittoor district.

The YSRC is focussing on winning the maximum number of MLA seats in Chittoor and Naidu is hell-bent on conquering Kadapa and reduce Jagan’s margin in Pulivendula considerably.
