Movie longer duration of Bollywood pardon screen is enlarged,It has all the ingredients of a Bollywood blockbuster: a beautiful protagonist, a ukulele-toting hero and over three hours of dancing through places in India, London and the Swiss Alps.

“Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge”, which is also known as DDLJ and is translated as “The Brave-Hearted I will take away the bride” has been on the big screen in an unprecedented 1009 weeks – almost 20 years – in Mumbai Maratha Mandir theater .

The longest length film in the history of Indian cinema, the 189-minute romantic comedy is about a young Indian couple from London who meet during a road trip across Europe. Silvia, who is a strict, conservative family, is due to be married to a husband in India, when Raj, a young hothead, chases. After much singing, dancing and serenade through poppy fields, fall madly in love – despite opposition from their families.

Much of the enduring success of DDLJ has been reduced to the young lead actress of the film, Kajol, who plays Silvia. A virtual unknown when the film released in 1995, she is now Bollywood royalty – known as much for their very distinctive eyebrows as her singing and dancing.
