Love fails Kannada actor and reality TV star Huccha Venkat, tries to commit suicide
Mumbai: Kannada actor and television star Huchha Venkat are back on the news, this time for attempting suicide.
Venkat consumed Phenyl in his farm house in Bengaluru after his co-star of the ‘Super Jodi 2’ reality show, Rachana, rejected his proposal of marriage. The actor, who was rushed to a private hospital in Malleshwaram, created a big riot outside in the presence of the media.
Huccha has alleged that Rachana was romantically involved with him, but rejected his marriage proposal while feeling that his parents would not approve.
Known for his exaggerated speech about the audience’s bad reaction to his 2014 film Huchha Venkat, according to News 9, the director-actor also wrote a suicide note to the media, asking them to pass it to Rachana. “Friends of the media I’m committing suicide now by consuming Phenyl as I can not forget the girl I loved. I was paired with Rachana on a Super Jodi reality show and she was in love with me,” read her note.
Venkat is famous for exhibiting abusive behavior on news and reality TV channels. He has been in ‘Bigg Boss Kannada’ in the past and had provoked a major controversy by stating that actress Ramanna Kannada was his wife.
Ramya did not file a police complaint against him and the actor was arrested.
