Lalu, Congress, rats responsible for the floods in Bihar: deputy CM Sushil Modi

laluPatna: Bihar Deputy Chief Executive Sushil Kumar Modi not only blamed the rats for causing devastating floods in the state but also blamed the Congress Party and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s government for it.

“This is not a matter of today, this has been happening for the last 50 years. The rats damaged the river embankments, which caused flooding. Rats are not the only factor behind this. This has been happening from the moment in which Congress and Lalu The Yadav government was in power and all are responsible for this, “said the deputy chief.

On Friday, Bihar Water Minister Lalan Singh, after reviewing the flood situation, said the rats had damaged the river embankments which in turn caused the floods.

Opposition parties did not approve of the statement and claimed that the Bihar government is only trying to hide its failure with such illogical statements.

Several large rivers, such as Kamla Balan, Kosi, Gandak, and Bagmati, were reported to have broken their mud flats, displacing more than 1.70 inhabitants, causing flooding in the middle of the state.

Previously, Bihar police had been attacked for arguing that the rodents had finished hundreds of liters of alcohol that were seized from the residents of Bihar after the ban on liquor.

It had only come to light when the media reached the police and discovered that the bottles were missing in the policy shops.

Floods have damaged 2,500 homes and caused 514 lives.
