Kohli offers freedom for bowlers, says Kuldeep Yadav

KULDEEPYADAVKuldeep Yadav, the Indian fan, can not help but delude Captain Virat Kohli and describes him as an inspiring leader who provides tremendous support and freedom to bowlers.

India completed a tour yesterday after beating Sri Lanka in the only T20I by six wickets. The visitors had won the Test series 3-0 and the ODI series 5-0.

“Virat is a leader, he gives you everything you want in the field.” When I’m bowling, he comes to me and asks me what field I want to play in. That’s what bowlers want to hear and gives them the freedom of bowlers, “Yadav said.

“He has given me tremendous support through the series of tests, the ODIs and now as well. So I am very happy with this type of team unity as well as with the leader.”

The 22-year-old Kanpur player said Kohli’s dedication on the pitch is an inspiration for all players.

“He leads from the front with the bat and even in the field too.Wherever he is on the field, he gives it all, so it is a motivation for him to see him on the field, or if he is training in the net,” He said.

“Looking at it, if we can improve our field even by one percent, that will be good. Talk to the younger players about what they want from them and what we need from the team.”

Yadav had few chances on this tour, playing in the third Test at Pallekele as a substitute for suspended Ravindra Jadeja. He was then rested for the first three ODIs, as the team’s leadership followed a rotation policy. He offered in the last two games before the solitary T20 game.

“So far it has been very difficult for me too, but I am very happy with my performance.” I had the opportunity in the last game of the test to work well, I played ODIs the last two games and it worked well. the T20 also, “he said.

“As a player, you have to play in every game.It is a pressure game.Everybody has to contribute especially when the captain and the coach decide to rotate the players.I am very happy with the policy, and you have to give credit to captain and coach because the World Cup is coming so they wanted to try them all, “said Yadav.

He paired with leg-spinner mate Yuzvendra Chahal at the final ODI and then again on the T20, and the duo changed the course of the game on Wednesday by picking up five wickets between them.

“It was a good bowling with him.If two leg spinners are playing, then there is more opportunity to take wickets. In this game we take five wickets together,” said Yadav.

“So if two leg spinners are playing more chances come to take wickets if they bowl in associations. And it’s also hard for the batting team to score runs.”

India will play in Australia, followed by New Zealand, and both series have more T20s, as the BCCI has sought to increase the frequency of matches in the shortest format.

“If you play three or four games as a series, it’s good for the team. Maybe it’s good for the opposition too.

“We are looking forward to the next series and we know that Australia is coming in. We have three T20s against them, as well as New Zealand, and I am very happy that the BCCI has decided to increase the number of T20 matches,” Yadav said.
