It’s very easy for me to switch on and off: Sonakshi Sinha

sonaSonakshi Sinha likes to stay connected with the industry only when she is working. “I switch off when I’m not working. I don’t want to know what’s going on or who is doing what. I don’t care. It’s very easy for me to switch on and off. When I am working, I am on it, I’m there,” says the actor, who recently finished a long outdoor shooting schedule in Budapest, Hungary.
Shoot out
Talking about it, Sonakshi says, “It was amazing. We shot for an entire month in Budapest, with a local unit. When you are shooting in India, you usually have around 150 to 300 people on a set. For one light, there will be seven lightmen. But over there, there was one cameraman, one lightman and one attendant. So, the unit had maximum 50 people,” says Sonakshi, adding that things were quite organised and systematic. “It wasa nice atmosphere to work in, where everybody was thorough in their jobs. Everything was on schedule. I think too many cooks spoil the broth, and that’s what usually happens here,” she says.

Sonakshi will feature alongside John Abraham in her next. She says she is inspired by the actor’s dedication to fitness. “John is very easy to work with. He is down to earth, funny and entertaining. But, he is very strict when it comes to food. He kept an eye on what I ate. He literally took food out of my hand. He is a really good co-star. He doesn’t cheat on meals ever, and I keep asking him how he lives like that. To that, he says, ‘If you want a body like that, you need to show dedication.’ He is so inspiring,” says Sonakshi.
