NEW DELHI: Faced with the incessant protests of the BJP thin three-member contingent in the Delhi Assembly today, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal did not miss the opportunity to lead the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the controversial Lalit Modi.

On the first day of the budget session, the Delhi assembly saw many interruptions as opposition BJP government mocked the former Minister of Justice Jitender Singh Tomar currently in jail for allegedly falsifying their degrees.

“We demand an explanation. What was a minister for so long?” Shouted BJP legislator OP Sharma, who charged from his seat and approached Mr. Kejriwal.

The chief minister responded to his demand, but hit back with a reference to the controversial Lalit Modi that has engulfed the government led by the BJP at the Centre.

“Mujhe Dhoke gaya mein rakha (I kept in the dark), but now I have taken strict measures … against my MLA Mr. Modiji (PM Modi) should also take action against Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje,” said Mr. Kejriwal , referring to senior BJP leaders faces resignation calls for supporting the controversial former chief IPL.

OP Sharma shouted as Mr. Kejriwal, the marshals caught hold of him and dragged him out of the assembly. Mr. Sharma returned after a few minutes, but are recalculated.

A legislator down, two other members of the BJP decided to sit in the center of the house and continue their protest. The men kept sitting on the floor as two bills were approved.

AAP has a brute majority in the house, having won 67 of 70 seats in the assembly elections February.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to act against Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, and the chief of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje minister just the way he said it made against former Justice Minister Jitendra Delhi Singh Tomar, now in custody for filing false titles.
“I want to tell the PM. The way I lied, I think some of his ministers are doing the same. He must also do what I did,” Kejriwal said in the Assembly of Delhi as well as the three MLAs BJP He protested the comments. “Taking action against, therefore, I request PM Modi to take action against Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje,” the coordinator Aam Aadmi Party.
Take Kejriwal was admitted to lying in fake degree case. “If everything shown in the media is true, it means that I lied,” he said. The AAP had initially defended Tomar, who was arrested earlier this month after revelations that he had acquired fake universities in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar titles.
