Actress Mumaith Khan appeared on Thursday before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Telangana Special Taxation Department examining Hyderabad’s drug racket.
A team of four officials began questioning the actress in Abkari Bhavan, the Office of the Prohibition and Excise Department, around 10 a.m.
She was being questioned about whether she was taking drugs and whether she had any links to Calvin Mascrenhas, the alleged racket boss.
Mumaith arrived in Hyderabad from Mumbai after she got permission to leave “Big Boss” for one day. According to the rules of the reality television show, no participant is allowed to leave the house until it is removed from the contest.
