Dr. K Nageswara Rao, pediatric cardiac surgeon who performed the procedure, said “At 25-26 weeks, the left ventricle started deteriorating, damaged or contraction. We realized that this is going to be a serious condition on the side left heart is too small and not useful and it will not be possible to perform surgery after birth. So I decided to try this procedure called fetal aorta volvotomy “.

A little over two weeks later, the baby’s weight has increased from 830 g to 1200 g. Without loss of blood and heart pumping, the activities of growth and improved heart.
