Former Minister P Chidambaram Slams Modi Govt In His First Media Conference After Walking Out Of Jail

He was released on Wednesday night after the Supreme Court granted bail to former Union Minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram, who spent 105 days in jail in the INX media case. Chidambaram, who was released from Tihar Jail, attended Parliament on Thursday. He was participating in a protest organized by the Congress at the Parliament Building on the rise of onions. Chidambaram reached the party office and participated in the media conference. Speaking to the media for the first time since his release from prison, he said that he believes that justice is finally winning.

The officials who worked with me and the journalists who observed me were well aware of what he had done during his tenure as Union Minister. He said that being in Tihar Prison has not only strengthened his body but also his body. He said the neck, spine and head were more rigid as he slept on the wooden board. Chidambaram has reportedly lost about 8 kg since going to Tihar Jail.

The BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been critical of the policy. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the BJP government has weakened the economy and the economic situation has never been addressed. Criticized that the onions have not increased or at least pierced the ant, and ignore the assurances given to the public. When reporters questioned about the atrocities and attacks on women in the country, he became very emotional. The senior leader of the Congress, who has been hit by the economic downturn, has called the government ineffective.

He was angry that the central government’s economic decisions were in decline. Chidambaram said all the systems of the country, including the media, are in a state of panic. If the growth rate is to reach 5% by the end of this year, the satirists said. The defective GST has been adamant that it is dealing with unintended decisions such as banknotes and the government has no policy on the economy.

Chidambaram said Dr Arvind Subramaniam warned that the growth rate is likely to fall below 5 per cent, as it is likely to fall further and further to 1.5 per cent due to unintended policies. The economy is slowing down, but the government is incapable of addressing it effectively.

The government has warned that it is wrong to believe that the problems facing the economy are temporary, even after seven months of this fiscal year. He said Congress and other parties were working to protect the economy from the slowdown, but that we should wait until our time.

Earlier, Chidambaram set up a sit-in on Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament. Chidambaram reacted strongly to the onion prices. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that she came from a family of onions. Can she eat avocado? Chidambaram called the chuckles.

The issue came up in the Lok Sabha in the wake of the onion tears. The comments made by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on the occasion were laughable. I don’t eat much onions and garlic. You don’t worry. I come from a family that has nothing to do with the two, ”said Sitaraman.
