Made on a low budget, Anjali and Srinivas Reddy starrer comedy horror film ‘Geethanjali’ attained a huge success in 2014. Earlier, it was reported that the film is going for a remake in Tamil under the direction of Prasad. The remake rights of the movie have been bought by Five Star Kathiresan’s Group Company.
Previously, the makers of the film decided to rope Anjali to reprise her role in the remake as well. As per the latest buzz, Anjali has been dropped from the project. However, the reasons for her removal from the remake of the film are still unknown.
However, the news is yet to be confirmed officially.
